My 2017: A year of wonderful memories!

The year 2017 has been a year of unforgettable memories for me. Every month, there is always something to remember, there is something that contributes to my growth and learning. It has been a year of many opportunities; a year of separation; a year that requires hard work and patience; a year of change and chances; but also it is a year of a good relationship.

January. It has been a month of learning. I was on my OJT at the school campus doing paper-works and site works. It has been a very busy month, especially because there is a lot of things to cope up with the previous year. There are lots of deadlines awaiting.

February. A day before the Valentines Day, I had received a flower and some sweets from my husband. Maybe some of you would think that there isn't really something new about receiving flowers and sweets during valentines day, but my case is a bit different because this is the very first time that my husband had given me a flower as a present on Valentines!

March. I together with my college friends went to Pampanga to attend the christening of our friend's son. I have met some new friends there. Also, one of my unforgettable moment there is that some attendees of that event have applauded for my singing! I was so shy that time. I was not a very good singer, but some say that I have a talent for singing. It was a happy experience knowing that some people appreciate my talent.

April. I have finally graduated CET! For me, it was a month of separation for all of us would face another chapter in our lives. Some would continue their studies, while some are preparing to work as soon as possible.

May. A contractor at school hires us after the OJT. I got my first job as a working student!

June. It is my birthday and this year was special! I have received a cake from my workmates at the office and celebrate the day with them. Then some days after my birthday my husband takes me out on a date. I had eaten a lot of shrimps and I really like it! Yum!

July. We went to a science convention and it was pretty amazing! I had learned a lot from it and saw many man-made prototypes and discoveries. On the other hand, my professor on one of my BTTE subjects had given us a task of wearing a cowboy costume as part of our lesson on Student's Diversity and I won the best costume on the female category. Thanks to my friend who lend me a pair of boots and my co-workers for the rope!

August. It was my brother's 21st birthday and we celebrated at home together with his co-workers. We have sung and drink until 2:00 in the morning.

September. I had bought a new pair of shoes and I really like it! Days later, I together with my high school friend decided to eat at Zark's and ordered a meal for three! It was a bit funny for we look very feminine with our dress and yet have an appetite like a male worker! LOL.

October & November. It was a busy schedule at work and at school. I had spent the Holidays at home, and before the end of November, I had my picture at the school's Christmas tree.

December. This was the best month of the year! I had saved a lot of money for almost a year. Also, I had spent the Christmas vacation with my son. He grows a lot. I missed him so much and it was so great having a quality time with him. Before the year ended, we had a family picture together with my husband and family in Leyte.

Last year was wonderful and I have really precious memories with my friends, co-workers, school mates, and loved-ones. I hope 2018 will also be a great year for me!
